Job summary

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Hope, AR is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to support inpatient and outpatient rehab services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

The candidate should have graduated from an accredited PTA program, hold Arkansas PTA licensure, and maintain current BLS. Prior PTA experience is preferred and PRN hours are offered in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current AR state licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current BLS, CPI or COAP within 90 days of hire.
• At least one year PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Standards of Practice for Physical Therapy and Code of Ethics.
• Provides a safe, therapeutic environment under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Maintains accurate data entry and patient records.
• Performs duties and assignments as directed by management.
