Job summary

HealthPro Heritage has a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) opportunity at White Oak Manor in Tryon, NC. The role involves assisting PTs with patient care in a skilled nursing setting, implementing treatment plans, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor patient progress and document in the patient record.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and care teams to ensure coordinated care.
