Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation in Hewitt, Texas is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants to evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at the Hewitt Rehabilitation & Wellness Center.

You will provide therapy services under physician orders, develop plans of care, document progress, and maintain a safe, compliant treatment area. Texas PTA license required; strong communication and organizational skills essential; prior geriatric rehab preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas PTA license/certification.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services per physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develop an overall plan of care with treatment goals and frequency.
• Perform skilled treatments and document patient progress and response.
• Complete timely documentation and billing in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain rehab gym and treatment area with infection prevention practices.
