Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification for PTA.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Organizational and analytical skills required.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organization.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Meet physical requirements to deliver responsibilities.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process / background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and professional standards.
• Develops overall plan of care with treatment goals and frequency to support discharge.
• Skilled treatments performed by therapists of all disciplines.
• Documents observations and patient progress within specified timeframes.
• Completes all required documentation timely per regulations.
• Completes billing for provided skilled services as required.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe condition.
