Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri.
CPR certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and executing treatment plans.
Provide direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training.
Educate patients on therapeutic techniques and proper use of assistive devices.
Observe and document patient progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in physical therapy.
