Job summary

OVERLANDPARK is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant in healthcare to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral, develop treatment plans, and obtain physician approval. You will supervise PT assistants and aides, coordinate with nursing staff, and participate in care conferences.

This role requires licensure in the state, a PT-related degree, and proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care. You will educate families and contribute to discharge planning while maintaining compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• Experience with Casamba and Point Click Care; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day after referral.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physician.
• Supervise PT assistants, aides and students; coordinate with nursing staff.
• Document evaluations and treatment notes per policy and state practice act.
• Assist in discharge planning and caregiver training for home program.
