Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

• Understanding of treatment costs and financial support relative to quality and efficiency.
• Competency in providing care according to established standards.
• Appropriate application of age-specific standards, policies, and procedures for pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a physical therapist, may implement treatment plans with patients.
• Performs components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist.
• Records patient responses to treatment and reports outcomes to the physical therapist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.
