Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Kindred Hospital Tarrant FWSW (LTACH) is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for PRN weekend shifts, supporting licensed PTs in a LTACH setting in Fort Worth, TX. You will contribute to restoring mobility and enhancing patient outcomes.

Join a dedicated care team to provide resident-focused rehabilitation, document progress, and maintain a safe environment. Minimum 1 weekend shift per month required; CPR certification and Texas PTA license required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from PTA program or equivalent.
• Current and unrestricted PTA license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assists in administering physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Supports patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitors patient responses and reports progress to PT.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Ensures a safe and clean treatment environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How You\'ll Contribute

A Physical Therapy Assistant (PT) who excels in this role:

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
• Administers physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT
• Assists in patient mobility and exercise routines
• Monitors patient responses and reports progress to PT
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for treatment
• Performs other duties as assigned

What We\'re Looking For

Applicants should have an Associate\'s degree from a PTA program. Additional requirements include:

• Current and unrestricted PTA license in the state where services are rendered
• Current CPR certification
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred
