Job summary

Bedford Post Acute in Bedford, PA is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our 72-bed post-acute care facility. You will assist a Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating residents, document progress, and communicate with the care team, residents, and families.

You’ll work under the DOR to ensure compliance and be part of a friendly, close-knit team. We offer $35/hr and a collaborative culture with regular staff appreciation events.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a PTA program
• Certification in good standing in PA
• EMR proficiency
• Compassion for vulnerable people

Responsibilities

• Assist a Physical Therapist with evaluating and treating residents requiring PT services
• Document progress and changes and communicate with the care team, resident, and family
• Work under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
