Qualifications

• Education: Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience: Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, mobility, and functional abilities to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Treatment Planning: Create and implement personalized therapy programs that address goals, improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall function.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting plans as needed.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home care strategies.
