Job summary

Pulse Primary Care in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a flexible Primary Care NP or PA to provide coverage for PTO, illness, or other absences. The role offers onsite coverage with Telehealth options when onsite is unavailable and requires CA license and board certification.

The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive medical care, perform exams, order tests, and manage acute and chronic conditions, while coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license and board certification.
• Clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or family medicine.
• Ability to provide PRN coverage with onsite preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and review patient medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and infectious conditions.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, treatment plans, and preventive health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, administrative staff, and other care team members.
• Promote preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Provide clinical coverage on an as-needed basis due to PTO, illness, or absences.
• Provide onsite care; telehealth may be utilized when appropriate.
