Meadowview Behavioral Hospital in Peoria, IL is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for PRN/per diem coverage. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Eligible candidates will have IL RN and APRN licensure and at least 3 years in psychiatry.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans. The team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists, and educators. Be able to establish empathy and a person-centered approach to patients. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner can recognize their own limitations and respond effectively to difficult situations. Skillfully work in a self-motivated and independent manner. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and patients.
