Job summary

Proactive MD is a workplace health center provider offering comprehensive health management and direct primary care to employees. PRN hours are available at our Sergeant Bluff, IA clinic, located at 1182 260th Street.

The role requires a PA-C with clinical experience in family practice, plus licensure in the practicing state and prescription authority where allowed. We value patient-centered care and a commitment to workplace health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MS, PA-C) required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Family Practice/Primary Care setting.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
• Certification to write prescriptions under Medical Leader authority where allowed.
• Active knowledge of workplace health concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Strong computer skills with basic Internet, spreadsheet and word processing software.

Requirements

• Master's degree (MS, PA-C)
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Family Practice/Primary Care environment
• Certification as a physician Assistant (preferred)
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice
• Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
• Training skills a plus Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
