Job summary

Proactive MD in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Physician Assistant or related clinician to join our clinic on a PRN basis. The role focuses on patient-centered primary care with a strong emphasis on workplace health and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree (MS or PA-C), is licensed to practice in the state, and has 2+ years in Family Practice. Proactive MD values thorough, unhurried care and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required (MS or PA-C).
• 2+ years' experience in Family Practice/Primary Care.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in state of practice.
• Ability to prescribe under Medical Leader authority where allowed.
• Knowledge of OSHA regs and workplace health concepts.
• Strong computer skills with Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Requirements

• Master's degree (MS, PA-C)
• A minimum of 2years' experience in a Family Practice/Primary Care environment
• Certification as a physician Assistant (preferred)
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice
• Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
• Training skills a plus Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
