Job summary

Kern River Transitional Care Center is seeking a dependable Physical Therapy Technician to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This non-clinical support position assists the therapy department with resident transport, treatment-area preparation, equipment management, scheduling support, and administrative tasks.

The role supports licensed therapists, helps maintain documentation, and coordinates with nurses and staff to ensure timely therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in rehabilitation, healthcare, skilled nursing, fitness, or resident services preferred.
• Basic computer and administrative skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy services.
• Transport, position, and prepare residents for therapy sessions.
• Maintain and submit rehabilitation documentation and logs.
• Support therapy staff and scheduling needs.
