Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a PTA to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This PRN position requires a currently licensed PTA and CPR certification; one year of experience preferred, new grads welcome. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email is expected as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities include following prescribed treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, and maintaining professionalism with patients and the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Active license in the applicable state.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT treatment plans under direction of the supervising PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software and deliver excellent patient service.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively on interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform routine mobility and range of motion tasks.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
