What you will do in this role:

• Provide compassionate, quality care in a secure setting as part of a team
• Implement the patient's Care Plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, aiding patients with physical or mental impairments to participate in tasks that restore, reinforce, and enhance performance
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided
• CPR certification (if required)
