Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation's Kindred Hospital East New Jersey unit is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for PRN coverage. Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide PT services to patients aiming to develop, recover and maintain mobility and function.

Essential functions include implementing the treatment plan, monitoring responses, documenting progress, educating patients and families, and assisting with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree required.
• Graduate of a program in discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapists using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan and communicates progress.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress; educates patient and family about deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning and provides information on adaptive equipment and community resources.
