Victorian Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy program on a PRN, per diem basis. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, providing interventions and documenting progress in a dynamic post-acute setting.

New graduates are encouraged to apply, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to gain diverse clinical experience while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Complete daily treatment documentation accurately and timely.
• Implement physician-directed treatment plans and monitor resident progress.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Report equipment concerns to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and discharge recommendations.
