Job summary

Courtland Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Courtland, VA is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to join our rehab team. You will provide treatment under a PT, assist with patient referrals to rehab, and document daily progress in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license/registration in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT per state guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient progress daily and obtain PT co-signature on progress notes.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Attend facility/rehab meetings and participate as part of the rehab team.
