Qualifications

• Active Kentucky PTA license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with exercises, mobility, transfers, gait training, and other therapies.
• Monitor residents' progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and nursing staff.
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately and timely.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards; promote independence and quality of life.
