Job summary

Park Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver quality care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The role offers flexible scheduling, collaboration with therapy and nursing staff, compassionate resident care, and a focus on progress documentation, with competitive pay and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in Kentucky.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist residents with exercises, mobility, transfers, gait training, and therapeutic activities.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to PT and nursing staff.
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately and timely.
• Follow facility policies, procedures and clinical standards.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care while promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications
