Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Surprise location in Arizona. The role supports outpatient musculoskeletal care, collaborating with physicians and the treatment team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates hold an Arizona PTA certification and an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting, with at least one year of outpatient PT experience.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
• Must be certified in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient PT clinic or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, staff and other departments.
• Executes plan of care in full compliance with state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Responds to patient questions to resolve problems and maintain high patient standards.
• Documents care and patient information for the medical record and per state practice act.
• Actively participates as a primary member of the treatment team for each patient.
• Complies with policies, OSHA and infection control regulations.
• Assists with training Physical Therapy Technicians.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrates current competencies for the job position.
