The CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our West Phoenix Clinic. You will work as part of an integrated care team to implement the plan of care and support patient progress.

Minimum one year of outpatient PTA experience and current PTA certification are required. The role includes collaboration with physicians, staff, and caregivers in a dynamic clinical setting.

Formación

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and PTA certification in the practicing state.
• Minimum of one year experience in an out-patient Physical Therapy clinic or equivalent.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and engage with providers, patients, and families.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, staff, and other departments.
• Executes plan of care in full compliance with state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Documents care and patient information for the medical record and state practice act.
• Acts as a primary member of the treatment team for each case in caseload.
• Complies with OSHA and infection control regulations.
• Assists with training Physical Therapy Technicians.
