Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team at the Surprise clinic. You will work with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care, implement exercises, and support patient recovery.

You will assist with interventions, monitor progress, educate patients, and maintain accurate records in our EMR system while coordinating with the PT for optimal treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program.
• State licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure and monitor caseload to ensure attendance compliance.
• Aid in administering therapeutic interventions (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and care routines.
