Job summary

AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting. This flexible PRN role offers rewarding work helping residents regain strength, mobility and independence.

You will provide treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, document progress, educate residents and caregivers, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while complying with state and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• New graduates welcome to apply with strong communication skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and resident progress.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality of care.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence

• Accurately document treatment sessions and resident progress
