Quad City Physical Therapy & Spine is seeking a passionate PRN Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team. We value patient-centered care, evidence-based plans, and collaboration with physicians and payors.

New graduates are welcome to apply. The role involves assessment, plan-of-care development, and direct patient care across vestibular and balance rehabilitation in an autonomous clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state of Iowa license and CPR certification.
• Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including EMR system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
