Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, OH is seeking a Physical Therapist, PRN, to deliver high-quality rehabilitation across settings. The role focuses on assessments, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

The PRN position requires collaboration with physicians and care teams, flexibility to respond to fluctuating patient volumes, and commitment to evidence-based practice and patient education.

Formación

• Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate patient status effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, professional standards, and facility policies.
