Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join our dedicated care team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You will evaluate patients, design treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to help patients regain mobility and independence.

In this role you’ll collaborate with physicians and therapists, mentor assistants, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT)
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life
• Monitoring progress and updating therapy plans with accurate documentation of outcomes
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices for independence
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions
• Mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values
