Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current CPR certificate required.
• Effective personal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to use evidence-based practice guidelines to treat orthopedic and neurological diagnoses/injuries.
• Ability to develop treatment plans, provide quality patient care, and supervise assistants.
• Ability to demonstrate competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.
• Ability to improve and expand client relations with other medical facilities and staff.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient medical history and administer treatment as prescribed.
• Complete documentation in patient medical records.
• Instruct patient and family in necessary care and rehabilitation.
• Assist in total rehabilitation of patient and training of support personnel.
• Provide education and in-service presentations as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
