Job summary

On With Life in Ankeny, IA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our transdisciplinary team. The role focuses on rehabilitation for brain injury and other neurological conditions, with weekday hours 8a–5p and periodic evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualified applicants have 2–3 years of clinical rehab experience, an Iowa Physical Therapy license, CPR certification, and comfort with electronic records.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of clinical experience in rehabilitation of persons with brain injury or other neurological disorders.
• Ability to maintain CPR certification (if you do not have this already, we will pay for it).
• Comfortable working with computers and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• In Partnership With Other Members Of The Transdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team, The Physical Therapist Provides Advanced Professional Services For Persons With Brain Injury Or Other Neurological Conditions, Including Assessment And Intervention To Address Functional Challenges In balance, gait, and mobility.
• Interventions to address hyper/hypotonicity and motor control and movement.

This full-time position primarily works weekdays between 8a and 5p, and is on a rotation for periodic evenings, weekends, and holidays.
