Job summary

On With Life in Ankeny, IA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation program. You will assess and treat individuals with brain injury or neurological conditions to improve mobility and independence.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 40 hours per week, at our outpatient clinic in Ankeny. We value collaborative, person-centered care and support professional growth with strong benefits and PSLF eligible

Qualifications

• Full-time PT or PTA in outpatient neuro rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and advanced services for persons with brain injury or other neurological disorders.
• Create and implement personalized intervention plans addressing motor function, mobility, cognitive skills, psychosocial skills, and positioning.
• Assist in the review of rehabilitation plans and make recommendations.
• Provide education and support to persons served and families.
• Assist in the education and training of staff on interventions to be performed outside of direct therapeutic treatment time
