BeFit Rehabilitation, LLC in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PRN per visit) to join our assisted living patient care team. You will assess, treat, and develop individualized plans to improve mobility and quality of life for seniors in residential facilities.

Work involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, documentation, and staying current with PT techniques to support recovery from orthopedic injuries and geriatrics conditions.

Formación

• Strong communication skills for patient, family, and healthcare team interactions.
• Geriatrics knowledge for aging population care.
• Familiarity with orthopedic and geriatric therapeutic approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
