Job summary

Vertis Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for PRN hours at our Assisted Living community in Meridian, MS. You will assess residents, develop treatment plans, and help improve independence and mobility.

You will supervise PTAs, document progress, and participate in wellness programs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Strong clinical assessment, clear communication, and the ability to work independently and with others are essential.

Responsibilities

• Resident Assessment and Treatment: Evaluate residents' functional abilities. Establish and execute a plan of care based on individual goals to improve resident's safety, functional mobility, and overall independence.
• Documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervision: Provide appropriate guidance and supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Professional Development: Participate or lead team development meetings.
• Wellness Programming: Regularly lead community wide wellness programs and events.
