Job summary

Southland Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Lufkin, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients with physical functioning disorders, including wound care, and contribute to discharge planning.

Licensed PT with flexible availability is required; open to PTs at all experience levels. This role supports our geriatric patient population in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist licensed to practice.
• Open to PTs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory standards.
