Job summary

Florence Hand Home is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our care team in Maryland. The ideal candidate will hold a DPT or equivalent recognized by the APTA and possess an active Maryland license. CPR certification is preferred.

You will perform initial PT evaluations, develop and document treatment plans, obtain MD orders for care, and deliver patient-centered therapies with appropriate modalities and safety precautions. This is a PRN, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., Doctorate, MA or MS in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state of Maryland.
• CPR certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation based on MD's orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form, accurately and adhering to all guidelines
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, treatment modalities, family education and documentation in order to assure the best outcome for our patient.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.
