Florence Hand Home in Maryland is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our compassionate nursing team. You will perform evaluations, develop and document treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians to ensure patient progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate with B.S., DPT/MA/MS in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Licensed or registered in Maryland.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, treatment modalities, family education and documentation in order to assure the best outcome for our patient.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.
