Qualifikationen

• Must be licensed as a Registered Physical Therapist in Maryland.
• Regular and consistent attendance is essential.
• Physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, and lifting.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on assessments, treatments and direction to staff on treatment matters.
• Evaluate patients using appropriate Physical Therapy techniques.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and goals and revise as progress indicates.
• Listen to patient and family concerns when modifying treatment plans.
• Deliver patient care during scheduled hours as assigned by a supervisor.
• Educate and motivate patients and families to improve functional activities.
• Document progress, discharge summaries and home programs in a timely manner.
• Consult with physicians and other staff to discuss and coordinate treatment plans.
• Maintain patient and family confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in continuing education and obtain required contact hours.
• Utilize Physical Therapy aides to assist with patient care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
