Job summary

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehab is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide high-quality therapy services to residents on an as-needed basis, helping them improve mobility and restore function in accordance with individualized care plans.

The ideal candidate will hold PA licensure, have experience in geriatric care, and be able to work independently within a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current PA Physical Therapist license.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for geriatric care.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PT evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based PT interventions tailored to each resident’s needs and goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and their families.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
