Job summary

Southern Pines Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis in Florida. You will assess, diagnose, and design personalized treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain, helping residents achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ medical histories and current physical conditions.
• Diagnose movement patterns by observing patients and listening to their concerns.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Establish clear goals and expected outcomes for each treatment plan.
• Utilize exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injuries.
• Educate patients and families on the recovery process and self-care techniques.
