Job summary

Cherry Blossom PACE is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist for the Virginia (Alexandria) area to evaluate and treat participants in mobility and daily life activities. The role focuses on goal-directed therapy, education for families, and collaboration with the care team.

Applicants should have a valid PT license, CPR certification, and either 1 year of frail/elderly care experience or approved training. PRN, day shift, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist license required.
• At least 1 year experience working with frail/elderly or approved training.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats participants' mobility and motor assets and liabilities for functional performance.
• Provides goal-directed, activity-oriented treatment to promote independence in self-care, mobility and daily life tasks.
• Educates the participant, family or support system to ensure continuation of performance.
• Participates in care plan meetings, IDT and committees as determined by Therapy Director.
