Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for the University of Oklahoma Medical Center Adult Rehab Services. The role supports PTs by implementing treatment plans and educating patients under supervision.

This PRN position requires an Oklahoma PTA license, BLS, and at least one year of experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate care with the rehab team and patients’ families.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or equivalent for foreign graduates.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Current Oklahoma PTA license and BLS on hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with EMR and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled interventions per the supervising PT's plan.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Educate patients and families on condition and home management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Attend departmental meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
