Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rehabilitation standards per mission and goals.
• Provide quality therapy services and documentation under PT supervision.
• Prioritize a work schedule appropriate for the facility.
• Support therapy management and collaborate with facility staff.
• Adhere to rehab department policies and procedures.
• Screen patients for evaluation under PT supervision.
• Treat patients to relieve pain and restore function under PT supervision.
• Communicate progress and update treatment plans as needed.
• Complete billing summaries and participate in staff education.
