Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As a Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to support patient care and outcomes.

You will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists, ensuring quality treatment and accurate charting after each visit.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA license/certification as required by state.
• Assist in implementing PT treatment plans under supervision.
• Strong communication and charting skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
