Job summary

Medical City Alliance, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support patient mobility and independence. You will work with a team of PTs and care staff to deliver individualized therapy and monitor patient responses.

Responsibilities include guiding therapeutic exercises, applying modalities, and educating patients on home programs. Eligible for comprehensive benefits, with scheduling flexibility for PRN roles.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPTA in Texas (TX).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with PTs, nurses, aides, and care team to enhance patient experience.
