Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Milwaukee is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care.

You will help develop and implement treatment programs, assist with all phases of therapy, document patient responses, and maintain clear communication with the therapist, director of rehab, and facility staff while using standard PT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs with the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
