Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation seeks a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will be a part of a growing team.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists. You will help develop and implement treatment programs, assist patients through all phases of therapy, discuss progress with patients, and document responses in charts after each visit.

Qualifications

• Working as a PTA under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with treatment plans and procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality treatment and assist in achieving functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs with the PT.
• Assist patients through all phases of physical therapy and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record responses in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
