Job summary

Bronson South Haven is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in a PRN, 1:1 care model. The role primarily serves Bronson South Haven with opportunities to provide coverage at Bronson Lakeview as needed.

You will evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury and surgery, developing individualized plans and delivering evidence-based therapies to improve mobility and independence. Emphasis on collaboration and patient education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.
• Provide direct one-on-one patient care through therapeutic exercise and manual therapy.
• Assess and monitor mobility, strength, ROM, balance, and functional progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in program development, process improvement, and departmental activities.
• Provide coverage across Rehabilitation Services as needed.
