Job summary

Western Home Communities in Iowa is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our brand new therapy gym and provide high-quality outpatient care in a modern, team-focused setting. You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions while collaborating with other therapists.

You will have strong communication skills, an active license (Iowa) or eligibility, and a minimum of 1 year in outpatient therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid Iowa license or eligible for licensure to practice in Iowa.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient therapy experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and participate in evaluation and plan of care in the therapy gym.
• Develop and implement PT treatment plans focusing on functional outcomes.
• Provide supervision to occupational therapy assistants in compliance with licensure and company policy.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions.

Requirements of a Physical Therapist:

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Valid license or eligible for licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Iowa
• Minimum of 1-year experience in Outpatient Therapy, preferred
• High level communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effective leadership and customer relationship skills
• Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems
