Job summary

Labcorp in Dallas, TX is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join our team. This casual/PRN position covers sites in the Greater Dallas area; hours vary, with potential Mondays–Fridays 7:00am–7:00pm and possible weekend requests.

The role requires high school diploma, phlebotomy experience, and strong patient-service skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are expected, with incentives for travel and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital setting.
• 1+ years experience assisting patients across age groups (pediatric to geriatric).
• Current or prior Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to various clinic sites.
